The Trades Mill offers a unique campus providing flexible spaces for creative entrepreneurs and craftsmen of all trades. The sustainable campus is designed to foster networking and collaboration between tenants and within the Amesbury community.

The restoration of the unique cluster of buildings set in Amesbury’s Carriage Hill, was inspired by the historical context of the Biddle & Smart Co. building, dating back to 1855. Exposed brick, concrete structures, industrial high ceilings, custom period-appropriate windows, and luxury finishes bring new life to the campus while honoring its roots as a century-old carriage and motorcar factory.

Founded by long-time Amesbury business owners Barbara Lorenc and Benjamin Becker, the Trades Mill provides its members with a collaborative environment filled with opportunity.
